Hail To The Chief

What would happen if a Robert Redford, Colin Powell or Ted Turner decided to run for president as an independent candidate while simultaneously, major scandals plagued the leading Democrat and Republican? Add to the mix a fourth significant contender, a Pat Swaggart/Robinson type Televangelist with a huge following, and a sub-plot involving the government conspiracy to assassinate presidential candidates who get in the way.

HAIL TO THE CHIEF does a terrific job of drawing us into the world of political conspiracy. As premier anchor and “the most trusted man in America,” Westwood pulls us into his ethical crisis as he uncovers murder and corruption and is then faced with the responsibility of his actions. New Additions To The Game Of Chess

Machines are taking over our lives and they are also doing a good amount of the thinking for us. The game of Chess has reached a point whereby a computer can beat a human virtually anytime. It is for this reason that I designed this new addition to the game of Chess. It starts with a new piece called TEMPLAR, a piece constructed so as to not disrupt the intent and majesty of the original game. TEMPLAR has a US copyright and is patent protected.

I am placing my idea on the web for a few reasons. One is to stimulate interest in ChessX. Another is to find a Game Board company, Toy Company or Entrepreneur interested in manufacturing this new piece and this new game. A simple way to do this would be to construct the piece and include two copies of it, white and black, with a booklet that could be sold in bookstores, toy and drug stores and over the internet. Call me. It’s your move!

Larry David was interviewed in The New York Times. When asked who the greatest comedian he knew who never made it big was, he answered: “Bob Shaw.”

The enclosed article on Bob Shaw  will explain an interesting early history of this legendary comedian.

Steve Wolf PH.D. - Steve had co-written "Romancing the Shadow", a psychology book, with the well-known author Connie Zweig.

Fifty years ago, almost to the day, American forces illegally invaded the neutral country of Cambodia. As soon as news of this event was released, the students of Columbia University went on strike as a protest. Within a day or two, scores more universities followed suit, and by the end of the week over 100 schools were effectively shut down. This event made such an impact, that Marc chose to document it as it occurred. Keep in mind that this essay was written by a 22-year-old senior at the University of Rhode Island, scratching the first draft out in his notebook on the kitchen table in his rental off Knowles Way by Scarborough beach in late May or early June, 1970

Marc Seifer’s book is one of the best written on the subject in the last 10 years!

For over 20 years I have made it my self-appointed task to scan the graphological landscape to document and report on significant researchers and events. Marc Seifer has consistently

hit my radar with his research and sharing of knowledge. His Definitive Book of Handwriting Analysis is a fine example of a work that is both a point of reference and a suitable book for teaching. He has fused modern thinking on the subject from many different nations. For the beginner this is a perfect starting point and even the most knowledgeable graphologist will find something new.”

Graphology commentator based in Great Britain
